Dubai’s entertainment calendar is getting a dose of Indian comedy this autumn, with Comedy Box Office Season 7 bringing a rotating lineup of stand-up performers to the city from September through December 2026.
The four-month season will take place at Emirates International Theatre, with a different bill planned for each date. Audiences can expect everything from observational humour and storytelling to character-driven comedy, with both established names and emerging performers taking the stage.
The season begins on September 12 and runs until December 27, when Sharon Verma is set to make her Dubai debut.
Tickets start from Dh125. Doors open at 6pm for each show, with performances beginning at 7pm.
Rajat Chauhan leads September opening
The first Comedy Box Office Season 7 show takes place on September 12, featuring Rajat Chauhan, Siddhartha Shetty and Anmol Garg.
Chauhan has built a following with observational comedy drawn from everyday situations and experiences. His relatable approach will be joined by Shetty’s energetic performance style and Garg’s humour around the frustrations and oddities of modern life.
Bringing three performers together for opening night gives audiences a varied introduction to the season rather than relying on a single comedic style.

Three comedians take the stage in October
A fresh lineup arrives on October 25, when Onkar Yadav, Shreya Priyam Roy and Pranav Sharma perform at Emirates International Theatre.
Yadav comes to stand-up with experience as both an actor and comedian. After building his profile through Marathi television, he expanded into live comedy, incorporating observational humour and character-driven material into his performances.
Roy adds another perspective to the evening with comedy based around everyday observations, while Sharma leans into storytelling, finding humour in familiar situations and personal experiences.
As with the opening show, doors will open at 6pm before the 7pm performance.
Jaspreet Singh brings Life of Paaji to Dubai
November shifts the focus to a solo act, with Jaspreet Singh taking over the stage on November 28.
Known online as Life of Paaji, Singh has developed an audience through live stand-up as well as short-form comedy on social media.
Punjabi family life, relationships and the small situations that turn ordinary days into comedy often feature in his material. His ability to turn familiar experiences into punchlines has helped him connect with audiences both online and at live shows.
The November performance begins at 7pm, with tickets available from Dh125.
Sharon Verma closes the season with Dubai debut
Comedy Box Office Season 7 will wrap up on December 27 with Sharon Verma, whose appearance is set to mark her first live performance in Dubai.
Verma gained wider recognition following her appearance on India’s Got Latent and has continued to grow her audience through social media and live performances.
Her comedy combines observations with storytelling, and her Dubai debut gives the final show of the season an added attraction for audiences who have followed her rise online.
Doors for the December performance will open at 6pm, followed by the show at 7pm.
Indian stand-up continues to find an audience in Dubai
The four dates highlight the range of performers emerging from India’s expanding comedy circuit, where live shows and digital platforms increasingly work side by side.
For Dubai audiences, that means performers who may already be familiar from social media can now be experienced in a live theatre setting.
Rather than bringing the same lineup back each month, Comedy Box Office Season 7 changes its performers throughout the programme.
