With an incredible social media following that has now hit over 15.3M+ followers on Instagram, Simonetta Lein is considered as one of the biggest influencers in the world. We had the opportunity to sit down with Simonetta Lein before her big event in Dubai and talk about her career, and what her audiences can expect next from her.
How are you using your social media handles to inspire others?
Everyone who has been following my journey for a while knows I have always used my platform to inspire and uplift. I have started to talk about women empowerment way before thought it was cool and I am still going strong inspiring women and girls from all over the world to be the best version of themselves. It is all about us as a big community that comes together and social media has that power.
Describe what a “lot of work” looks to you as a TV and Media personality?
It means constant work! It means I do not have weekends or 9 to 5 hours. I try to give myself boundaries and sometimes I push some “me time” that otherwise would never come. When you work for yourself and you want to be an innovator and better yourself “a lot of work” means overseeing everything, talking to my team to make sure all runs smoothly and having to fix a lot of un-smooth things all the times. Yet doing it with a smile. That is a victory.
Apart from just being a mega fashion influencer, do you ever take work home with you?
It often happens and I am becoming better and better at managing the dance of work and private life. When you love what you do though you might find yourself even late at night talking about it. At night it is family time and I truly try to cherish that.
What are your best tips for influencers to stay at top in the industry?
You have to be productive and find a way to be different that what others are doing, whatever your message might be or even your niche. Creativity is everything. Videos and reels are very important as they keep the audience engaged and happy to come back for more. Also it is important to dare to do things that might push you beyond your comfort zone but still keep your identity and values. People are looking for true inspiration and light, now more than ever. Be that!
Can you share with us the biggest highlight of your career?
I have so many highlights to share with you and Dubai as a whole, but I would say ‘The Simonetta Lein Show’ made an unbelievable positive change in my career and in me as a person. Season 6 here I come! All of my fans know how much work I put behind it so to see it coming all together for all these seasons is just incredible.
How do you feel attending this event in Dubai?
This is another big highlight for me, being awarded the TV personality and the international fame nomination is just incredible and a thankful moment. It is my very first time staying in Dubai as I always just pass through. The Burj Khalifa is the tallest tower in the world and I am so excited to participate with Golden Wings Awards in making history together.
