According to the 2023 Life & Technology report from communications agency Duke+Mir, nearly eight percent of UAE’s population wish their family and close friends would spend less time on their phone when they are together.
Additionally, a whopping 40 out of 100 residents in United Arab Emirates think they have a problem with using their mobile phone too much, and would like to reduce the consumption.
Moreover, around 1,000 residents across the Emirates were polled by YouGov t collect their feedback on a range of lifestyle and technology questions, with the target of learning more about the attitudes and behavior of people in the UAE.

One of the biggest feedback from the population was that 7 out of 10 UAE respondents think it has become harder to separate their professional and personal life because of the evolving technology amid the pandemic. Moreover, they are adopting different remote technologies to enable them to work,.
People in the United Arab Emirates are currently finding it very difficult to balance the usage of technology, whether that is at work, at home or out and with friends and family. We are extensively prioritising the technology over people sitting right in front of us. Furthermore, this data proves that we need to develop better priorities to control our usage of technology and perhaps learn to enjoy real life interactions more.
