Rather than following one dominant trend, SS27 presented contrasting approaches to modern dressing, with established houses revisiting their heritage while newer voices explored identity, emotion and changing ideas of American style.
Coach Celebrates 85 Years
Coach marked its 85th anniversary with a collection rooted in the label’s heritage. Stuart Vevers brought together leather jackets, trench coats, tailored pieces, dresses and Western-inspired footwear, while exposed seams and linings gave classic garments a more relaxed feel.
Metallic details added a contemporary finish to bags and footwear, while the new Turnlock Tote referenced the house’s distinctive hardware history. The presentation closed with dancers and performers joining the runway for an energetic anniversary finale.
Tory Burch Brings Bold Colour
Tory Burch combined structured tailoring with relaxed sportswear, pairing tailored suits and military-inspired pieces with cropped knitwear and pleated skirts.
Coral, turquoise, butter yellow and vivid green brought colour to the collection, while contrasting fabrics and textures created a balance between polished and casual dressing.
Cult Gaia Turns Personal
Cult Gaia’s collection took a more personal direction, drawing on designer Jasmin Larian Hekmat’s experience of losing her grandmother.
