55,000 registrations, and still growing
In just a year, Urent has registered across 55,000 users on its vehicle rental app across all of the seven emirates in the UAE. Though it was the first of its kind, where Urent gained the trust of vehicle owners and end-users by making listing and renting hassle-free, ensuring the authenticity of listings, allowing renters to review users, and providing excellent customer support that is always ready to receive feedback and assist both owners and renters in any way possible.
Partnership with Huawei CLOUD Middle East
On the back of this impressive growth, Urent has partnered with Huawei CLOUD Middle East to be their digital transformation partner, a key step toward expanding into new locations in the Middle East.
Urent to land in the top 20 Finalist list in the Misk Accelerator Program, Saudi Arabia
Within the past year, Urent has established strong presence in Saudi Arabia, participating as a Top 20 Finalist in the Misk Accelerator Program organised by The MISK Foundation, a non-profit created by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of Saudi Arabia, to promote entrepreneurship. Through the accelerator program, Urent was able to present its “Airbnb of vehicles” solution to more than 600 people that included venture capitalists and other important personalities in the Saudi business climate.
Consequently, after achieving 3X of its projected KPI’s in the first year, Urent is now on course to enter two to three new markets in the MENA region in 2022.

In its first year, Urent has established itself as a truly innovative and forward-looking company. It offers private and commercial vehicles listed directly by the owners, enabled five categories of vehicles – including cars, yacht, scooters, and chauffeur services – and provided an option to pre-book vehicles for future trips.
Urent has also partnered with CAFU, a fuel on-demand delivery service in the UAE, to offer on-demand vehicle refuelling, washing, and maintenance services to its end users.
The month-over-month growth seen in 2021 was phenomenal, and with the imminent expansion plans we have, this year is going to be very exciting.
