The official Mohammed Bin Rashid Library has shared the below video on its official Instagram account on Monday, June 13.
Here’s what you need to know about the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library
Mohammed Bin Rashid library is located in Al Jaddaf, Dubai and has a different and eye-catching structure. Furthermore, it has been designed to look like an open book sitting on a traditional lectern which holds the Quran, also known as rehl.
The shared video above doesn’t give away much of the details, however, a post published in the month of May showed glimpses of what visitors can expect inside this gigantic library. What makes it unique are the seven floors and its size which spans 54,000 square metres.
For all the book lovers, inside, you can look out for a general library space, a young adults library, a (colourful) children’s library, a library specially dedicated to maps and atlases, a media and art library, a business library, an Emirates library, and many more.
The twist here is that all the floors aren’t just packed with books. However, there’s a whole lot more inside which makes the attraction much more than just a daily library.
